Judi Kaye Hourigan, 68, of Columbia, Missouri passed away on September 19, 2012.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Columbia. Inurnment will follow in Columbia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25 at Parker Funeral Service.
Judi was born February 9, 1944 in Susanville, California to Murrel and Ruby Jackson and they preceded her in death. She was married in 1964 to Greg Hourigan and he preceded her in death.
Judi was a 1962 Hickman High School graduate and attended Stephens College. While raising two young sons, she honed her skills and love of cooking and decorating to a fine art and later joined the family ranks at Barth Clothing Company. Most recently she was employed at the Missouri Credit Union.
Judi is survived by sons, Shawn and Trevor Hourigan, both of Columbia; brother Roy Jackson (Kim) of Kansas City; one sister, Linda Jackson (John DiBlasi) of Wooldridge; one grandson Hunter Hourigan of Blue Springs; and two nieces and one nephew.
Judi's sharp wit and zest for life endeared her to so many and she will be missed immeasurably.
