Paul E. Boos

Paul Boos, formerly of Denton, KS. passed away suddenly on Monday, October 1, 2012 in Columbia, Missouri.

Paul was born on December 22, 1946 and was raised in Denton, Kansas. He graduated from Midway High School in 1964 and from Benedictine College in 1969.

He married Marilyn Henke of St. Louis, MO. in August of 1969, and had three children, Shelly (Mark) Kretzschmar of Columbia, MO., Laura Boos of Nashville, TN., and Brian Boos of Columbia, MO. Paul and Marilynn divorced in 1988.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Bernard and Phyllis Boos.

He is survived by his children, four grandchildren, his brother Robert (Audrey) Boos, Denton, KS., sisters Dorothy Boos, Maryville, IL., Bonnie (Henry) Scherer, Atchison, KS., Cindy (Mike) Lednicky, Everest, KS., and Susan (Dennis) Winchester, Denton, Ks.

A memorial mass for Paul will be held at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, Bendena, KS. on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

A memorial college scholarship will be established in Paul’s name for Doniphan West students. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Paul Boos Memorial Scholarship Fund” in care of Farmer’s State Bank, PO Box 219, Wathena, KS.
